Video calls
Meetings, telehealth and webinars. Recordings can often be kept in Canada; the live call, chat and account data are a different story.

No Canadian-owned video call service that keeps data in Canada could be confirmed. This is one of the gaps the research found.
What to ask any video call service
- Where are recordings, transcripts and chat stored? Where is the account data?
- Can live meeting traffic be restricted to Canadian data centres?
- For telehealth: does the vendor store anything at all, and where does the call pass through?
